My husband, Gary, is the cook in the house. This is fabulous in so many ways except one: we are spoiled when it comes to food. Gary’s cooking is far superior to most of the restaurants we visit. We are often disappointed with the fare we get when eating out. However, every once in a while, we come across a restaurant that is hands-down superior. Roma Restaurant in East Hartford, CT is in this category.
Every time I’ve eaten at Roma, I’ve had a spectacular meal. Everything from their pizzas to their Italian dinners and specials is phenomenal. One of my favorite dishes is the Napoletana, which consists of Sweet Italian sausage and fresh spinach tossed with ziti in a ricotta tomato sauce then baked with mozzarella cheese. Coupled with Mama’s Special Garlic Bread, you just can’t go wrong. Way too good to share!
Open since 1982, Roma Restaurant only uses fresh and natural ingredients. They make their own sauce, too. (You may have heard of Capa di Roma pasta sauce?!) This is only one of the factors that sets Roma above others in the industry.
Because I think Roma Restaurant is fantastic, I’m going to put my money where my mouth is. I’m offering three $20 gift certificates to Roma. Just enter below:
