There were only two flavors of soda at the beach snack bar – Coke and Mountain Dew. I never really liked Coke, so I always got Mountain Dew. And now, every time I drink it, I’m catapulted back to the 1970′s and Old Lyme beach where my parents always rented a house for a week every summer. Nowadays, I drink the diet stuff, but it still reminds me!
