Home and Community Health Services Inc has been in Enfield for over 100 years. Formerly the Enfield Visiting Nurses Assoc, HCHS supplies a wide range of health care professionals to patients in north western CT. With strong ties to both Johnson Memorial Medical Center and recently with St. Francis Medical Center, Home and Community offers quality care. They are a non-profit organization.
Each year the Hospice Team at HCHS holds a major fundraiser at the Enfield Square Mall. Beginning Friday 11/23 and going through Christmas Eve, HCHS volunteers will be present near the entrance to Sears to wrap your gifts. Packages of all sizes can be dropped off to be wrapped.
For the past five years, I’ve volunteered to wrap gifts at the Enfield Mall for Home and Community Health Services. For a small donation – I always say “give ’til it feels good” – I will wrap any gift you have, including difficult to be wrapped stuff. (One year, I wrapped an ironing board.) We provide paper, boxes, bows, ribbon, and gift tags. If you are anywhere near the Enfield Mall this holiday season PLEASE stop by. I might even give you free coupon tips and tricks if you ask!
