I am a young 45 year old woman whose passions are my family and friends, gardening, reading, and, of course, deal seeking. You’ll find all my passions translate into posts on my blog. In addition, because I have been an educator for over 20 years (teacher, school counselor, and administrator), I also post freebies and deals for teachers. I know first hand how hard educators work and how much of their own money they use on their classrooms.
Currently, I am a part time (30 hrs/wk) principal at a private special education school in Connecticut. I work with boys ages 13-18 who have substance abuse issues. When I’m not at work, I’m blogging, which takes up about 40 – 50 hours a week of my time. You may also find me teaching couponing classes all over the state of Connecticut as well as Massachusetts and New York.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments. I can be reached via email at gina@ginaskokopelli.com.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by Gina’s Kokopelli. I hope you enjoy it!

Hi Gina
I have to say I love your site. I started using your site about a year ago. I can’t believe how much money I’ve saved. I now enjoy shopping, just to see how much I can save. I have to tell you about my latest deal. I am a keurig coffee drinker, but the k-cups are pricey. So I went staples. com purchased 6 boxes at 12.99 each total was 77.94. then before I checked out I went to eBay purchased a coupon for $2.50 the coupon was $25 off of $75 purchase entered the coupon code total came $52.94 with coupon purchase $55.44 for 144 k-cups that’s less then $0.39each. Anyway , I wondering what to do with all my expired coupons and if you knew of any programs that take them. Thank you Chrissy
On my website under the “Coupons” tab at the top, you’ll see “Expired Coupons for Military Families”. Click on that and it will give you all the info you need to do something great with all your expired coupons.
Dear Gina,
Now that I have taken both your coupon classes, I just wanted to let you know how much I really enjoyed them. I have learned so much from you. Thank you for changing the way I shop 4ever! My family thanks you, too. Your website is great, also, I am costantly finding new things to try. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Please keep up the great work!
I had to change my e-mail address and resubscribed under this e-mail address but I am not getting the daily e-mails. What do I need to do?
Thank you!
Try looking in your spam folder. The email might be going in there by accident.
I thank you Gina, for making my start into couponing easier then I could of imagined! I was getting very discouraged when I would bring my clipped coupons to the market and only see a small deduction at the end of my shopping trip. I now have the knowledge and the tools to care for my family of 4 for less. I am so excited to use your site to get the most out of my dollar. Times are hard for everyone right now, and I am so happy you are sharing your passion with all of us over taxed Connecticut residents!
Thanks again Gina!
Thanks for your kind words!
Nice to find another frugal Connecticut blogger!
Thanks for stopping by!
