I got a letter from S&S a few weeks ago. It stated that they feel that the bag credit has run it’s course. Instead of the credit, they will now be donating more $$ to earth friendly non-profits (I can’t remember how they actually stated this.) The letter also had a coupon for a free S&S reusable bag.
Gina, my local Stop and Shop no longer gives cash credit on reuseable bags, I don’t know if this is policy for all S&S stores but I suspect it is. Do you have any knowledge of this?
