Splendid Spoon: Eat Healthy & Stay Away from the Grocery Store

Author’s Note: With everything that is going on and the real need to stay the heck home, I am reposting this for anyone who is interested in (1) eating healthy, (2) keeping your social distance from the fridge, and (3) staying out of the grocery stores. Oh! Try the Cauliflower Tikka if you decide to do this. Totally yummy!

About five weeks ago, I started my journey to get healthy and lose about 25 lbs. I decided to use Noom, which is a program that uses psychology and science to help you change your lifestyle and relationship with food. I’ve learned a lot on my journey, and one of the things I’ve learned is meal-prepping for the week. Meal prepping my lunches and breakfasts helps me stay on track and gives me grab and go meals for work. However, as you might guess, finding ideas and the time to meal prep is a challenge.

Recently, an ad for Splendid Spoon came up and I decided to check it out. They offer a subscription box for low calorie, gluten-free, non-GMO, and plant-based lunch and breakfast foods. I decided to try out the lunch subscription for a week.

The cost for the five-day subscription for the first week was only $40. Additionally, each lunch comes with two servings, so I can easily freeze the other serving if I want, making the box even more economical. Honestly, I like the fact that I will have a variety of really healthy, low calories meals without having to buy a bunch of ingredients and spend the time cooking myself! Plus, if I don’t like something, I’m not really wasting a lot of food and ingredients. (It really stinks when I make a new recipe and then HATE it!)

If you’d like to try Splendid Spoon, make sure you use this link because you’ll also get $25 off your first order. Let me know what you think!
